    Product feature
    1. AQUATHERMIC technology:
AQUATHERMIC components integrate thermal features to reduce thermal shock when entering the water, and also reduces the duration and intensity of the windchill effect* when getting out of the water. It also improves body thermal insulation from the outdoors to enable you to swim for longer in cold conditions.
    2. Thermal shock:
The physical and elastic properties of AQUATHERMIC materials help to provide swimmers with a second skin. This second skin slows down water penetration and therefore thermal shock when getting into the water.
    3. Thermal insulation:
Moreover, AQUATHERMIC components retain, between the skin and the fabric, a thin layer of water that will naturally warm up with body heat.
    4. Reducing the windchill effect*:
Lastly, our AQUATHERMIC components absorb very little water from the outer garment's surface, providing a windproof effect. The dual action of windproofing and quick drying reduces the amount of time and the intensity of evaporation of the water retained on the garment's surface, which otherwise makes you shiver when you get out of the pool.
    5. *Windchill effect
Rapid and prolonged drop in body temperature caused by the evaporation of excess water retained on the surface of a wet garment. The colder and stronger the wind, the more intense the evaporation and therefore the greater the feeling of cold. The greater the quantity of water absorbed by the fabric's outer surface layer, the longer the evaporation and therefore the longer the feeling of cold will last.

    • great first open water swimming wetsuit

      ian (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
great value first wetsuit for open water swimming, maybe not as buoyant as others but value for money outweighs this. much warmer than expected , first open water swim in lake with 12C water temp with no problem
      it fits me ! price
    • great beginners suit

      john (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 1 year
This suit has worked for me in warm docks in London to 9 degree Celsius derwent water in the lake district, and I've never felt cold.
Buoyancy could be a little better. But for the price it is a better!
light, easy to remove in transition
    • Great wetsuit for swimming

      Adrian (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Great warm water wet suit for swimming in. I have not dared used this in the UK yet as like to be warm. So off to Northern France to swim in the sea. The suit is easy to get on and off by yourself. It is a great snug fit. The lifeguard on the beach remarked how easy it was to spot me a great distance off the shore. I may brave the cooler waters in the UK knowing how warm it kept me with no sudden rushes of cold water ingress.
Easy to get on and off. Bright coloured
      none really
    • Flexible in all the right places, and light

      Clive (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
This is my first 'swimming' wetsuit (ie not for surfing). I did the Great North swim in it, and it was perfect. Nice and light, and flexible in all the right places. Also, people could pick me out from all the other zillions of all-black wetsuits because of my extra flashes of colour.
The flashes of colour make you easily identifiable
The zip isn't as long as a triathlon wet suit
    • Temperate water swim suit

Thin layer, figure hugging, allows moverability
none really pleased with the product.
