    Product feature
    1. Technical tests for poles
Bending and compression tests are done on extended poles to make sure they remain effective and can withstand stresses when the user has to lean on them heavily. Tests are also carried out to assess how the tightening systems cope with pulling, tightening and repeated stress, and pull tests on the tips and handles simulate poles getting stuck when in use.
    2. How to adjust your walking poles?
Hold the poles with your arms bent at a right angle. To adjust them: unscrew the middle section beneath the ring of the lower section, adjust to desired height (in cm), and screw back on firmly but not too tight. Do the same thing with the lower section. NEVER GO OVER THE "STOP LINE", or the pole may break during use.
    3. User advice
When heading downhill or pushing heavily in the mountains, as in a raid, for example, you can adjust your sticks to make them longer. When heading uphill, use the strap for support; going downhill, it's better to remove the strap so the pole doesn't get in your way if you fall.
    4. Precautions for use
Always check that your poles are properly tightened before setting off. Do not put them on backpacks in stormy weather.
