How to maintain of your golfing shoes?

HEAT AND HUMIDITY: YOUR SHOES' TWO ENEMIES

Your shoes should always be sheltered from moisture and heat. Store them in a place where they will be protected from damp and from any heat source (radiator, car boot in direct sunlight, etc.), even when drying them out. This way, you will preserve the performance of their component parts and ensure them a long life.

The trick: if your shoes are wet, place pages of newspaper inside them and leave for several hours. The newspaper will absorb most of the moisture.

    SHOE CARE

Do not use wax or waterproofing treatment on your shoes. This would risk damaging the membranes in the shoes which keep them waterproofed while retaining optimum breathability.

Check the state of your spikes regularly, to ensure you remain stable during your swing. Beware: when spikes become worn out, so too do their supports, making them more difficult to replace.
