THE COMPOSITION OF A VOLLEYBALL

The regulation weight of a volleyball is between 260 and 280 grams. The standard circumference is between 65 and 67 centimetres. The pressure should be between 294 and 318 millibars.

The volleyball is made up of three parts:
1: Lamination layer: PVC or PU panels glued onto the outer body of the ball.
2: Wound filaments: threads wound up inside the body of the ball, under the lamination layers.
3: Bladder: rubber glued to the lining of the ball.
