THE FEATURES OF A GOOD SHOE

Our selection of volleyball shoes is designed for both beginner and regular volleyball players.

Volleyball shoes should meet a certain number of criteria in order to guarantee the player safety, comfort and enjoyment during the match

    - Cushioning in the heel when landing from jumps.
    - Breathability, allowing perspiration to escape from the foot.
    - Stability, for controlled movements when travelling quickly around the court.
    - Foot support.

    Laces and tongue

Laces allow the foot to remain firmly inside the shoe. This is essential for playing volleyball.
The tongue allows for better aeration, thanks to its synthetic mesh material which provides more ventilation and lighter weight.

    The upper

This is the part of the shoe that allows the foot to breathe, thanks to its synthetic mesh material which provides more ventilation and lighter weight. Reinforcements protect the upper from wearing out too quickly. The uppers on most volleyball shoes are mainly made of synthetic materials.

    Insole

Made of EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate, foam that offers better shock absorption) or compression-moulded EVA (keeps the sole in good condition).

    Outer sole

Made of rubber (stiff), PU (polyurethane), or TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane: a material that provides greater damage resistance, rigidity and support).

    The outer sole in detail:
    - Pivot point: this will allow the foot to turn when the player changes direction.
    - Grip: this aids contact with the floor.
