    Twin-tip models

    Twin-tip models or symmetric shape models are the larger part of the market, so obviously, most of the kitesurfers use this kind of board.

    Directional models

    Directional models look like surfing boards and are more used for wave riding or races. Its shape is similar to a windsurfing board's but shorter. They usually have a front and a back and you can find fins on these kind of boards, you will need to use them the right way round. This kind of boards will be for experienced kitesurfers.

    HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR KITESURFING BOARD REGARDING YOUR LEVEL?

    Beginners

    Beginners will choose a twin-tip board which is easier to use and larger for a better support. You can choose a flexible board as well, for more comfort.

    Freestylers

    If you are a freestyler, you will choose a larger twin-tip board. A larger board will be more stable and perfect when you will realize figures.

    Experienced, experts and freeriders

    You will choose a twin-tip board as well, but smaller for a better maneuverability, more speed and sensations. Choosing a directional model will give you more efficiency on the waves. The size of a directional board is defined by your weight.
