    Product feature
    1. Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested: the WHOLE TENT under 200 litres/hour/sqm (200 mm/hour) for 4 hours! as well as in the most. (2000 mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner tent under the fly sheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the fly sheet.
    2. Guarantee
All our tents are guaranteed for 2 years of normal use (your invoice or receipt gives proof of purchase date and price). In the event of a problem, have your tent checked out in your local Decathlon store.
    3. Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the guys in position around the tent should remain habitable under wind speeds of up to 40 km/h at ground level (Force 5)
    4. Poles, pegs
Poles: hollow fibreglass (2 diameters Ø 6.9 and 8.5 mm). Tent pegs: 5 mm galvanised steel pegs for good twisting resistance.
    5. Storage
1 pocket for storing your belongings.
    6. Access
1 vertical zip for the outer door. A "D" zip for the inner room. The entry way can be left open, rolled up and fixed to the pole.
    7. Sun protection
The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30. Please note: a significant amount of UV rays can enter through a single open door: protect your skin.
    8. Dimensions and weight; folded dimensions
Bedroom 190 cm wide by 200 cm long. Max. headroom: 121 cm. Cylindrical storage bag: 26 cm diameter/65 cm long. Weight: 3 kg
    9. Ventilation
1 high up back vent, space between the flysheet and the floor all round the tent: to allow air to circulate between the bedroom and fly sheet, for more breathability and to limit natural condensation.
    10. Pitching/folding
Classic dome tent assembly: poles set up with the bedroom, then flysheet fixed on top. Reverse movement to take it down.
    11. Life cycle comparison: tent for sleeping - sustainability.decathlon.com
The product's environmental impacts are calculated across its entire life cycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE score is attributed to help you more readily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing the same type of product (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.) Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental information. Hello everybody

I have a very small question for those who bought this product.

In the product page, it is shown that the tent is 3,2 kg
      www.decathlon.co.uk/media/832/8322006/big_f0daaa0e67104fdea48f05a4a8ba53e2.jpg

It is also written under "technical information" that the weight is 3,2 kg.
      http://www.decathlon.co.uk/arpenaz-3-tent-3-man-green-id_8322006.html#anchor_ComponentProductTechnicalInformation

But on another picture (link is below) of the product, it is shown that the tent is 3,1 kg
      www.decathlon.co.uk/media/832/8322006/hd_2208356396a04da091817ef51b4bb421.jpg

However, my friend told me that his tent is written on it that it is 3,4 kg
      http://we.tl/fRcsjoGyip

But he also said that when he weights out with & without the tent; he sees 3,2 kg of difference.

I am planning to join a group of hiking people. I couldn't make a decision to buy or not to buy; as, i think, 200 gr gets heavier during the hike.

If you have an "Arpenaz 3 tent" can you please tell me how many kg exactly it is?

      Thank you everyone
if it were 3,1kg or 3,2kg
      but is 3,4kg
      Response of the brand
      Dear Sir,
Thank you for asking us about the Quechua Arpenaz 3 backpacking tent.
You're right about the information. It is confusing.
The product manager and I have just measured it and the result is the tent is around 3,1 kg.
If you have more comments or feedback just let me know!
