    • HRM - Bluetooth Low Energy & ANT+

      Julian (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Used with both Decathlon's own app & after a few phone resets with Strava - not initially easy, but took Deathlon's app off and then all was well.
Seems accurate and no weird anomalous readings. Fits comfortably and is unobtrusive on any ride I've so far done - (5 hours). Would have been 5 * but found an identical HRM but without the chest strap from Decathlon for £15 so whilst its cheaper than the competition, its not cheapest they do, this cheaper one was hidden away in bike accessories.
Comfort, works consistently after initial problems
      £15 for a strap really???
    • Belt also works with Garmin hrm3

This little beauty does everything it promises.
It is recognised by both my Garmin 310xt triathlon watch (ant+), and by my Hudl2 tablet running the Tacx Cycling app (Bluetooth) at the same time. So I can use it with the tablet on my Tacx turbo trainer, and I can use it with the watch when out on the road.
Just as an experiment, I thought I'd see of my Garmin HRM3 "module" would clip onto the Geonaute belt.
      Yes it does.
So I not only have a great "dual band" HRM, I have a spare belt for my Garmin HRM, too!
Why do I keep the Garmin HRM "module"? - well it is fully waterproof, so you can swim in it, because it is for triathlon, while the Geonaute "module" is only splash proof, so don't swim in it!
The Geonaute chest band is a bit shorter than the Garmin one, but it went round my 40" chest OK, with some adjustment left. If you had a 50" chest, you might struggle.
The Geonaute chest band is a bit thinner, and made of much more simple material than the Garmin model, but my Garmin chest belt (like a number of other folks) is a bit too clever for its own good, and is unreliable, particularly in the cooler air of the winter.
So, other than not being fully waterproof, the Geonaute HRM is a great replacement for the Garmin, and the "dual band" feature is even better than the ant+ only Garmin.
And if I need the waterproofing of the Garmin "module", I'll just mount it on the Geonaute chest strap!
      Win, win!
    • Excellent and well priced HRM strap

      Martin (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Links to Strava on my 'phone via Bluetooth. Once set up it works automatically as long as you remember to keep the bluetooth turned on.
Also links to my Bryton GPS. Go to settings and re-scan. It's as easy as that.
Links to Strava on 'phone and to my Bryton GPS
Strap length will be too short for "large" people
