    • Very pleased

      Myck (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Got this after four years with a Garmin Oregon 550 and the difference is amazing. I use it mainly for geocaching and the unit is perfect for it holding so many more caches and pocket queries you can go away knowing you have all the caches in the area. You can then get it to sort them so it will only display certain types of cache or all of them. I found the preloaded caches to be out of date and deleted them quickly loading up new ones from pocket queries. So far the most I have loaded on to it in one go is 7000.
I have also used this for long distance walks including a 52.4 mile charity walk in 22hrs and 6 mins and enjoyed the use of the preloaded maps or choosing to view custom maps I added myself. I was able to review the data from the walk on my computer using Garmin Base software which was useful.
All in all I am very pleased as have put this GPS through its paces and it have performed very well.
Good Maps, good battery life and robust.
      instruction manual could be better
