    • Forclaz mattress

Really positive. I got one for my girlfriend whilst I have an old thermarest. It was much cheaper than the equivalent thermarest but she was really happy with the comfort and didn't feel the cold through it. On top of this she liked the rubberised grip sections which stopped her sleeping bag sliding (with her in it) sliding down the mat. Only negative but which also applies to more expensive thermarest is the valve is fairly simple. Surely it's possible to create a one way valve for inflating by mouth so you can blow up firm easier. Also the self inflate wasn't great but I attribute that to the fact it was brand new and been packed away for awhile
      Price, performance
Valve not self sealing. Didn't inflate as quick as
    • Comfy Sleeping Mat

      Kim (United Kingdom)

The mat inflates quickly and is easy to pack down small. Grippy patches on the top are useful too.

Have had many comfy nights with this mat. Reccomended
      Comfy, inflates quickly, packs small.
    • Good and small

I bought this mat before I went to Norway camping for a week. It did a great job by giving a good insulation from the cold ground and keeping my sleeping bag in place during the nights. It packs quite small and is fairly light which was important for me as I was hiking a lot. It stayed inflated all the time, however it takes a bit more time to self inflate than I expected and deflating may take quite a lot of force. Nevertheless, I'd recommend it!
    • Decent mattress

The mattress allows a comfortable sleep on relatively even ground, although its thickness does mean on more rough ground it may be less so. Inlfates easily - the self-inflation gets it about half-way to a decent inflation level. Has stayed fully inflated over periods of several nights' use. And the big boon is its very small size when packed, allowing it to easily fit in typical large backpacks without limiting storage too much.
      Packs small, stays inflated
Self inflation bit poorer than typical
    • Disappointing

Did a very good job for over a 7 days hike in May. However, a few months later, I used it again over a 4 days cycle trip and discovered on the first night that the mat was going flat within 30min, which was very annoying. I went home and tried to find the hole by putting the mat in a bucket of water (and using the provided patch) but it seemed that there was no hole. Instead, dozens of micro-fissures where appearing under the mat which made it loose its air (bad quality product).
      Small, light and comfy
Short life span, bad quality product for the price
