    • Best Hybrid Bike Ever

      Andrew (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Did Paris to London in June 2016. We have been under storm and rain. Bike perfect and really comfort to ride. Had 2 bag of 10kg each in the back, never gave me any trouble. Perfect gear system for Uphill or Downhill. I think the Puncture Proof tires really saved us twice. I'm ready for my next trip with this bike!!
Done 300k in 1 week. Perfect and confortable
    • A beast.

This bike is huge. It is like a motorbike with no engine. Where I live it is fantastic for our flat roads. It is comfortable and sturdy and great as a load lugger but as soon as you hit an incline you start to feel that weight.
I bought this instead of the hoprider 300 because of the gears. I do not like twist shifts. If I had the option of this bike without the extra weight of the shock absorbing front forks I would have taken it, after all, given the size and weight, I am never going to go serious off roading.
I do not want to seem too negative. This is a fantastic bike which ticks all the boxes, but it would benefit from shedding a few pounds. In that we are very alike.

    • Fragile suspension and heavy

      Nikhail (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Used this bicycle for 10 months to commute to work in london. It is a comfortable ride. However the brakes constantly squealed from the first week i had it (and decathlon were unwilling to address this). It is very heavy. Finally the suspension is of poor quality - became unstable making it difficult to control the bike, and this was not covered by b'twin warranty (which only covers rigid forks). I ended up discarding the bike after owning it for less than 100 days.
    • Delighted with quality

This bike replaced a Claude Butler which was stolen a few months ago. That bike was my first since I was about 10yrs old - 52yrs ago. I did a lot of looking around before deciding on this make and model and I am not disappointed in any way, especially as I'd never heard of B'Twin before. I wasn't after anything but a good, solid bike to get me around in the summer, so I was more interested in visibility, built in lights, sturdiness to deal with the terrible Kentish roads and general comfort. I bought some better security chains, replaced the saddle with a bigger softer one and added pump and tools, panniers and a bike computer. Delivery was fine and the whole process was painless. An excellent bike!
