    4. Tyre tips
Whether you use your home trainer to train on a road bike or mountain bike, we highly recommend using a tyre specially designed for use on home trainers. Such tyres last longer thanks to their reinforced structure and harder rubber, as well as reduce the noise from the spinning of the wheel.
    5. Stability tips
When cycling on a home trainer, the rear wheel of your bike is stabilised and slightly raised. For greater stability, you should also use a front wheel riser block. The benefits are: 1. Stabilises the front wheel. 2. Raises the front wheel so that the bike is perfectly level as you ride.
    6. Protection tips
Protection: When training indoors, perspiration often drips onto the bike or floor. Therefore, we recommend using the following materials: 1. A sweat guard to stop perspiration (which is acidic) dripping onto your bike and damaging its frame. (item 8056757) 2. A home trainer mat to reduce noise and provide stability and added protection against perspiration. (item 8369937)

    • Well worth the money

Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Got this 2 weeks ago and have used it every day since, started as a couch potato 2 weeks ago and did my first 55km ride within virtual reality yesterday.
It's easy to put up and loading the "TACX Trainer software 4" is a doddle. The on screen Virtual Reality really makes it easier to train and push yourself harder, the software also allows more than one user profile allowing one user to be ghosted onto another users screen, thus making rides competitive between users (son and myself now compete to get the best times).
The breaking system on the i-Vortex does wonders in simulating actual terrain making training more realistic and less boring. The biggest pluses with the TACX software is that you can create your own routes within Virtual Reality or create your own workout program within Catalyst mode or even download custom workouts from TACX Bikenet. We have not downloaded any of the TACX custom riding films yet so am unable to comment on them.

All around good buy for me so far and would recommend this product to anyone.... just remember to order yourself a Domyos mat to go with your trainer so you don't sweat all over the floor.
      Well made and works well.
      None so far.

I'd love to tell you how good it is but I can't use it. It only came with an EU plug. Nobody at Decathlon seems interested in helping me, they won't call back and just say go back to the store, it's an hour round trip.
Price is very good, easy to assemble,
Only came with an EU plug
      Response of the brand
      Dear Sir,
I'm sorry to read that the correct plug adapter was not fitted to your trainer by the store. I gather the store has been in touch with you directly to rectify this as soon as possible.
      Our apologies for this oversight.
