    Product feature
    1. Programme / Terrain
The SCAN AMPTEK is a true twin freestyle with an Amptek Auto Turn rocker for the youngest rider, whatever their level, offering the technology they need to develop their talent. With an AmpTek Auto Turn rocker combining light camber between the feet for stability and grip, and a big tip and tail rocker to displace the point of control of the board for easy play, the Scan has been designed for smaller riders.
    2. What's the right size Scan for me?
As children grow, do not hesitate to have the board so that it is a little too big during the first year, however there should not be less than 10 cm between the board and the size of your child otherwise the learning stage will be complicated. 120 cm => from 1m30 to 1m45
    3. TWIN TIP Snowboard
A TWIN TIP shaped snowboard = the front and back board sidecuts are completely symmetrical, providing symmetry and perfect centring, board features allowing you to snowboard both ways in the same way. The Twin Tip shape also provides total balance during spins (on the ground, in the air).
    4. 0 mm SETBACK
The Setback is when the board's compression points with the snow are not symmetrical in relation to the centre of the board, but set back towards the rear. The bindings are also set back towards the rear by the same distance. 0 mm => with no setback, these Twin Tip boards are completely centred for riding forward or switch, offering good balance during spins (in the air or on the groomed slopes).
    5. Technical information
      Front width 255 mm/Centre 225 mm/Rear 255 mm (Size 120 cm) Radius 6.2 m Effective edge 870 mm Number of inserts: 2 x 8 (3 possible positions per binding/20 mm between each) Recommended stance: 370 mm
    6. Extruded Base/Glide Performance
Extruded base (manufacturing process that is different from sintered bases) Provides a normal glide and good durability over time. Requires regular maintenance: ideally requires waxing every 5 outings and at least once a year: -either at the beginning of the season to start with a very good glide -or at the end of the season to nourish the base in depth and allow the wax to penetrate into the base throughout the summer (ideally with the bindings pointing downwards).
    Product testing
    1. Composition
      Board : 40.0% Wood, 30.0% Epoxy, 30.0% Glass - Fibre (FG) Sole : 100.0% Polyethylene (PE)
    2. Storage advice
Wipe the edges at the end of the day so they don't rust.Waxing is required on a regular basis, ideally every 5 outings. Keep away from sunlight when storing during the summer.
    3. Product catchline
The Scan is a true twin that's ideal for young riders of all levels. The Amp Tek Auto-Turn combines a light camber for stability and traction, and a big rocker to improve playability.
