    • Top Product which are comfotable from day one

      Carl (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 2 years
Have had these for two to three years now in which they get used for 5 hours plus walks / scrambles per day often over two days. These I can say are a real favourite of mine. Having had many brands over the years I find Solomon a really well made boot. I haven't experienced any wet feet as yet although I wear gaiters if conditions look boggy or overly wet. Love them.
Look the part also light and robust
    • Comfortable, waterproof & not too heavy

      James (United Kingdom)
Used for 7 to 12 months
Have worn for hikes up to 40mi, including in lowland winter; they performed brilliantly. Knowing that whatever the conditions underfoot (especially in the dark) the boots could cope was a great feeling.

Only consider buying these if you will lace them snugly all the way to the top, locking ankles for support. Otherwise mid height boots are more suitable, cheaper & lighter. For drier & warmer conditions, trail running or walking shoes are probably better, unless carrying a heavy load.
Great fit, waterproof & not too heavy.
Trail running shoes better if not wet and muddy
    • Comfortable but only on a dry day

      Duncan (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I needed a pair of new walking boots to replace my old North face boots. Happened across these and purchased them along with a pair of Lowa boots for the girlfriend.
Cant fault the comfort of them as i have worn them a couple of times for good five hour or so periods of walking. However, they failed to live up to their waterproof description. After a day walking in rainy weather i was very dissapointed to find that both boots had leaked and my socks were wet along the sides and the bottom. this was not through moisture entering at the top as i had overtrousers on which prevented this.
I am overall quite disappointed with these boots. As a dog walker i like to go out in all weathers and being happy in the thought of returning home with dry feet actually matters to me.
Style, comfort, cleat type lace fastening
Not as waterproof as the Goretex name suggests
