    Product feature
    1. Backpack technical tests.
Backpack components are approved in laboratory tests, including:fabric, buckles, webbing, foam, zips, etc. Fabrics are tested for:resistance to abrasion, tearing, colour durability against UV, washing, waterproofing...Then, a test is done on the finished product that acceleratedly simulates the kind of treatment it will be subjected to over the years to assess assembly strength:The backpack is weighted, placed on a dummy which reproduces the movement of fast walking through thousands of cycles.
    2. How is backpack volume measured?
The volume of each backpack is measured using a standardised method: we fill the main compartment as well as each pocket with little balls. We then empty the balls into a graduated container which provides the equivalent volume in litres with a tolerance ranging a couple of %.
    3. Environmental measurements
Oxylane, together with Quechua, has decided to inform you of the environmental impact of its hiking backpacks over their entire lifespan. This work follows an experiment that began in July 2011 with the French Ministry of Ecology. Scores ranging from A to E were awarded based on comparisons between Quechua's backpacks only. • Quechua trekking transport bag 120l

      brian (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Good bag. Have 2 now used for transporting buoyancy aids. Each is able to hold 8 ba's and they keep them dry
    • Excellent bag with loads of space

      Morgan (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Took this bag to 3 festivals and 1 surf/camping trip. It held everything I need to take - tent, sleeping bag, airbed and all my clothes with space to spair which was very handy as I was travelling by public transport. Material held up well and still has no rips or tears. The shoulder straps are a little uncomfortable on long hauls so if you're looking for a backpackers back pack, buy a backpackers backpack. Otherwise I can't fault it!
    • Excellent bag, would recommend for diving trips.

Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Used for a CCR two week diving trip to Malta, it survived the outbound and the inbound with 27kg of kit coming home. Really glad I got this bag. It is study and very well priced IMHO.
Strong. Good handles. Clever pockets inside.
The elastic to compress the bag is attached
