Product feature
  1. Assembly/disassembly
Rapid set-up. Freestanding tent (you place it wherever you want once set up and, if there's no wind, you can use it with no pegs = direct use!). Folds up easily thanks to the Easy guide system.
  2. Ventilation
Flysheet with 2 side panels that can be extended and fixed with side guy ropes (opening from the inside). The air can circulate in the sleeping area. The sleeping area's entire rear flysheet can also be lifted up from the inside by pulling on a rope.
  3. Protection from the sun
The flysheet fabric filters the UV with a UPF of 30. Warning: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door: protect your skin.
  4. Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (whole tent under 200 L / m² / h for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (Polyester 2000mm PU-coated flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet 120 g/m², all seams sealed with heat-bonded strips). The presence of a breathable polyester sleeping area under the flysheet prevents contact with the condensation water droplets that can settle on the inside of the flysheet.
  5. Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 50 km/h near the ground (Force 6).
  6. A score to compare products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is provided to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks...). Decathlon is a voluntary player in this environmental information approach. For more info: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
  7. Guarantee
All tents sold by Decathlon are guaranteed for 2 years in normal use (your loyalty card or receipt act as proof of purchase). If you have a problem, have your tent checked in the nearest Decathlon store. Spare parts and pole repairs in the workshop of your nearest Decathlon store.
  8. Storage
2 pockets in the bedroom and a storage area to protect your belongings.
  9. Access
Front opening: effective and easy. Large D-shaped door, with single zip. No need to climb over your companion to get out.
  10. Pitching/folding
Quick installation. Free-standing tent (place it wherever you like, and if there's no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). Easy folding using our "easy" guiding system.
  11. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated across its entire life cycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE score is attributed to help you more readily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing the same type of product (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.) Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental information. • great tent

great. the only thing I would add would be some sort of eyelet or fixing at the middle red bit on the front ground ground rail. In high winds wind gets under the front and lifts it up off the ground. A simple fixing here would stop this. I will get a tarp clip to secure it here.
  • Very nice tent

Got the tent and used it last weekend. The tent went up in seconds and was comfortable and waterproof. There was very heavy rain overnight and the tent was dry and comfortable. I had a bit of a struggle in getting it back down and into it's bag, but will have another look on UTube before my next outing. I'm happy with my purchase.

Doddle to put up. Watched the video a couple of times and practised packing it down befor we went away , and armed with this knowledge it is also a doddle to pack down.
Lovely airy space, with places to put things.
We used it for a busy weekend in beautiful weather, so not sure yet how it will fare in wet or windy conditions.
The only problem so far is storing it - it's not the most convenient size or shape to store and keep away from damp and little nibblers. Good idea to consider this before buying.
  • Perfect for a few nights away.

I bought this for me to sleep in when I need to be able to put up and take down on my own. Very easy to pitch, just pop it up. Putting back in the bag requires a little more practice, but fine when you have worked it out. I used this in one or the worst thunder storms I have experienced camping. The torrential downpour went on for over an hour. I was warm and dry throughout. I wouldn't use for a longer stay as not much headroom, but this was obvious from the dimensions given.
  • Excellent once you've practiced putting away :)

Used for More than 1 year
I bought this tent from Decathlon in Angouleme 2 years ago after having had a quecha pop up tent for nearly 10 years which was becoming tatty after so many years use. (This old tent is still used regularly, water tight and survived some terrible weather). The new 'air' version is wider and seems a little longer too which is very welcome however I did find it 'lower' than it's predecessor making it difficult to get dressed etc. Have had two trips in it this year alone and it survived 'Festival Number 6' with no problem at all (there were so many broken and blown away tents all in the skips & written off cars due to the horrendous weather all weekend). I once watched a test on TV which showed fire crews firing water at pressure at various tents & the little quecha pop up tent did the best so I think the 'pop up' poles must be far more flexible and hardy being all fixed together that more 'traditional' tents.
Easy to put up and put down after a few practices
Head height a little low towards the back
