Product feature
  1. Product warmth
Ability of a product to offer protection from the cold. It depends on the material's thermal resistance and air permeability. The higher the thermal resistance, the more the product keeps the heat produced by the body while cycling.
  2. Water repellency
Waterproofness is a fabric's ability to prevent rain water from passing through. A fabric's water repellency is its ability to make water bead and/or run along its surface. The garment soaks up little or no moisture, dries more quickly, and doesn't become heavier. Water repellency can also make it more difficult for its outer surface to become dirty. Water repellency is obtained by applying a treatment to the fabric's external surface.
  3. Care tips
Machine wash at 30°C. Synthetic programme. Turn the garment inside out. Use minimal laundry detergent. Do not add softener. Line dry in a warm, ventilated area. Do not tumble dry. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not place on a heater to dry.
  4. Product tests
Our team of product designers based at the B'Twin Village in Lille is continuously working to make cycling more comfortable for our users. Our obsession is to create products that meet the specific cycling needs of our users and eliminate hindrances to a good cycling experience. We then test our products in the field, as we are convinced that only by subjecting them to real world conditions, like the ones you experience on your bike, can we continuously improve our products.

  • Cycling gloves

Used for 1 week or less
So good i want to buy another pair to stop my son pinching mine !
  • Not for winter use

    Beatrix (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I have used it on short 8-10 minutes trips in -4 degrees, itnis not warm at all. My fingers were cold. It is better than having nothing, but definitely not for winter.
    Response of the brand
Thank you for taking the time to post a review of these gloves. They are indeed winter gloves but it is hard to define what constitutes winter. This can vary a great deal and in this case I totally agree with you that these gloves alone are not suited to sub 0 air temperature (+ windchill). The 900 series glove would be a much better bet for £20, but even then if you wish to ride in such temperatures, a silk or synthetic glove liner (for only a few pounds) is always widely recommended. It may also be that the gloves are too tight. The team at Road.cc has written an excellent article about winter gloves (and the 900 model is featured). https://tinyurl.com/ycwu472g
Of course if you are not happy with the performance of these gloves and they don't live up to your expectations, please feel free to return them to us with your receipt. I will also update the description to clarify the temperature range of these gloves on our website.

  • So far so good

    Richard (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
I bought these after a previous, old pair of gloves were soaked through on a ride. So far I can't complain. They seem to keep the cold at bay - 8c - but the true test will come as the winter chills take hold. But for the price they represent great value
  • Btwin gloves

    Steven (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Bought these because of the ability to use index finger on phone but in terms of keeping hands warm they aren't particularly good. Ok for wind but hands were very cold when temperature dropped to 0
    Response of the brand
Thank you for taking the time to post a review of these gloves. Down to around 5 degrees, these gloves are fine but if you are riding in lower temperatures (+ windchill) I would recommend using a glove liner such as this one (https://www.decathlon.co.uk/trek-500-black-liner-gloves-id_8390734.html).
I use this exact combination down to 0 degrees with no issues (but it can vary with each person). As long as I keep my head warm (it makes a huge difference) then I never get cold with these gloves + liner. If you're looking to ride in even lower temperatures, then the 900 series gloves may be more suitable: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/900-winter-cycling-gloves-black-id_8369611.html
