    • Fabulous - a screw chuck pump!

Used for 1 week or less
I had the previous generation of these small pumps - essential for taking on a ride as they pack so small.

But I had occasion to use it in anger recently, and soon realised its shortcomings. It had one of those horrible push and click type chucks which are a real faff to secure, and the pump barely shifted any air. Hard work!

So when I saw the 900, I just had to have one. A proper, 100% secure, screw chuck. Easy to fix and air tight. And as the pump telescopes, it shifts a lot of air. Hooray Decathlon!

So now you have the perfect ride pump - it packs away small and works brilliantly.
      Screw fixing, air volume.
      Nothing so far.
    • Leaks air.

The pump leaks air at the nozzle at an incredible rate. Also it doesn't stay still when attached to the bike frame, it easily slides around.

I'm sure i got a dud, but none the less the product i bought merits a one star review.

      Model i bought didn't work.
      Response of the brand
      Hello Charlie,

Thanks for your review on the Pump 900, this is a new pump for this year so all feedback is very welcome. I will forward this onto the product manager, as you say the leaking of air is hopefully a one off. I will let him know also about the pump moving while attached to the bike. Do you have this fitted to a road or MTB?

Please return the pump to your local store for them to exchange.
