TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Type of buoyancy compensator

This compensator is equipped with the 'fusion' bladder: Combines the functions of a classic bladder and a back bladder. This type of bladder is characterised by high lift, unrestricted movement and a comfortable position on the surface.

The bladder ‘slides’ on the shoulders when inflated.

Comfort of the buoyancy compensator

The chest strap is horizontally and vertically adjustable, depending on torso length, body shape or the position of the drysuit valve.

The direct system strap height can be changed.

50 mm swivel buckle.

Backpack able to carry single or double tanks.

Ergonomic accessories

The Dragon Buoyancy Vest has 7 attachment rings: 5 stainless steel and 2 technopolymer.

2 SLS releasable weight pockets with visual confirmation of correct insertion.

Maximum load 6 kg/13 lbs (size M to XL or 4 kg for size S). Custom label on the pocket.

2 large zipped pockets with stretch outer panels.

Mares dive knife attachment.

Ergo inflater

Designed according to ergonomic guidelines, the ERGO inflater is the standard inflation and deflation control unit on Mares buoyancy compensators. It is intuitive to use and very easy to handle.

Routine care advice

1/ Rinse your buoyancy compensator thoroughly with clean water. Pay particular attention to the drains and the inflater. 2/ Empty any water that may be contained in the buoyancy compensator by pulling the lower drain tab. Do not store water in the inflatable bladder. 3/ Dry your buoyancy compensator on a wide hanger, out of the sun. Inspect your buoyancy compensator once a year and look for any signs of wear. Inflate the inflatable chamber by mouth, then wait 12 hours to see if it deflates.

Servicing buoyancy compensators

Your buoyancy compensator must be inspected and serviced by a certified Mares centre at least every two years, and more often if you are a frequent diver. After Sales Service: Please visit our website.
