Brushless 36 volt rear wheel motor, 250 Watt max power.
35 Nm maximum torque. This value allows you to assess the ease with which the bike can tackle certain obstacles (a climb, for example)
The engine is also linked to a cadence sensor that provides electrical assistance based on your pedalling motion.
An LED control console is right next to your left grip so you don't have to let go of the handlebar and can easily choose from the 3 assistance modes available: Economy (15km/h max), Normal (22km/h max) and Sport (25km/h max.).
The remaining battery life is shown by an LED cursor on the same screen.
You can also control the headlights. The assistance lighting is essential for operating the headlights.
Very reliable 36V 8.7Ah LG/Samsung lithium-ion cell with a 313Wh capacity.
Lockable battery (supplied with two keys).
The battery is also removable for recharging (at the office, for example).
Please note: the battery should be locked when in use to keep it in its housing and prevent accidental disconnection.
Battery weight: 2.24 kg
The range of a battery with a 313Wh capacity is at least 20 km (mode 3 - SPORT) and up to 50 km (mode 1 - ECO).
The battery ranges are an example only and are based on a person weighing 70 kg riding on a relatively flat route.
NB: Battery range may vary depending on the weight being transported (user weight + weight of bags), the gradient (uphill) and the weather conditions (low temperatures reduce battery life).
Steel frame with a Dutch-style low step-through for easier handling. The steel more effectively absorbs vibrations and thus provides greater user comfort.
Frame weight = 7.2 kg
Matte black finish.
Steel fork that more effectively absorbs vibration for improved comfort.
Front and rear TEKTRO V-brakes with replaceable pads to avoid complete disassembly and make replacement easier when the brakes become worn.
Rear brake under the frame for better aesthetics.
Aluminium brake levers.Replaceable brake pads (reference: 8325106)
Handlebar / stem / steering
Aluminium Dutch-type handlebar and quill stem (diameter: 22.2 mm / 1") that can be moved up or down for a more comfortable, upright back position.
Grips with connectors for attaching Vioo Clip lights to make you visible from the sides when riding.
Adjustable height aluminium seat post (27.2 mm diameter).
Wide saddle whose foam padding varies in hardness based on the pressure points between your bum and the saddle. Adjustable clamp so you can optimise the saddle position.
Lockable seat clamp (diameter: 31.8 mm) so opportunist thieves can't steal your saddle / seat post.
AXA battery-powered front and rear LED lights need your control screen to be on. Front light built into the frame and back light built into the rear mudguard to stop it getting broken.
20 LUX lights.
Can be seen from 150m at the rear, and illuminates 30m at the front.
Rear reflector built into the pannier rack.
Drivetrain / Pedals
42 tooth single chainring, 170mm aluminium cranks, and Shimano TZ500-6 6-speed freewheel (14x28 teeth) for easier riding in cities and over occasional slopes such as bridges.
Development: from 3.21 m to 6.42 m
B'Twin by Microshift rear derailleur.
KMC Z7 RB rust-resistant 114 link chain
Resin pedals to save weight compared to aluminium.
28" (700) front and rear wheels reinforced with double-walled aluminium, 36 spokes.
Why have we chosen this wheel size? So that our users can enjoy a more comfortable experience and the ride quality that this wheel size offers. The front and rear wheels are securely fastened with bolts to deter theft.
Rear wheel axle diameter: 12mm,
Front wheel axle diameter: 9 mm.
700x44 low-pressure tyres to smooth out bumps and keep you more comfortable as you ride.
Gum Wall 30 TPI tyres with 1mm puncture protection and reflective strips.
Schrader valves make the tyres easier to inflate (at petrol stations too). The ideal pressure is between 3.5 and 4 bars. This optimises the battery life and prevents punctures.
Rear pannier rack, battery-powered front and rear lights, front and rear mudguard, side stand, chain guard.
Side stand that's screwed to the frame and specially chosen to support the weight of an e-bike, as well as keeping your bike more stable when parked.
Not designed to support the weight of a child seat and child when bike is stationary.
The pannier rack can hold 27 kg, including a pannier-mounted child seat or any of our ELOPS bags.
The frame is fitted with mount bolts: on the seat tube that can hold a folding lock and a Ringlock / frame lock that stops the back wheel from turning when the bike is parked.
The handlebar is compatible with your 500 12L basket.
This bike has not been tested and approved for use with a trailer.
How does an e-bike work?
E-bikes assist your pedalling to limit fatigue and keep you cool while riding. But for the motor to provide this assistance, you still need to pedal.
The motor powers you up to a maximum speed of 25 km/h and cuts out when you stop pedalling.
If you don't want to use the assistance, it can be turned off at any time so that you can ride as if you were on a normal bike.
Your e-bike has also been tested for riding in the rain.
Which is the right size?
Frame available in low step-through only
One size fitting anyone between 1.60m and 1.90m.
25.9 kg (including pedals and battery)
This e-bike has been approved according to standard EN 15194 for a maximum weight of 125 kg (bike + user + load weight).
How to charge your e-bike
The removable, lockable battery can be charged at a mains socket either on the bike or off it.
A charger is included with purchase of the bike.
It takes 5 hours to fully charge a completely drained battery.
Maintenance / Storage
A Lithium-Ion battery should ideally be charged regularly, before it gets completely drained.
If you aren't using your battery for an extended period, store it in "deep sleep" mode at 80% charge. Otherwise, charge it every 3 months.
To keep it at its best, store the battery in a warm, dry place (25°C).
Battery Transport / Recycling
In France, as part of our environmental protection policy, you can drop off your old batteries at any Decathlon store's workshop to be recycled by a certified entity. The procedure and recycling provider varies from country to country.
Lithium-ion batteries are subject to special transport regulations (boats, planes).
A document for your battery, called an MSDS, can be requested from our Decathlon cycling teams.
Spare part availability
Electrical parts will be available for 10 years (motor, battery, electrical parts) or, if they're changed, they'll be backwards compatible.
1) Before performing any work on your e-bike (electrical or mechanical maintenance), you must turn off your bike and remove the battery. 2) Regularly maintain the drive train (chain should be cleaned and lubricated) when it shows signs of rust or accumulation of dirt.
3) Do not use high-pressure cleaners.
It's recommended that you store the bike in a sheltered place or protect it with a cover.
It's also recommended that you remove the battery and store it at room temperature when you're not using it for an extended period, as explained in the instructions.
The marine environment (air, ocean spray) is extremely corrosive for mechanical and metallic parts, so it's strongly recommended that you regularly lubricate your bike's entire drivetrain and clean the positioning elements (handlebar, seat post, etc) with a damp cloth from time to time to remove any salt deposits that may accumulate.
