If you have purchased the following product: ROCKRIDER XC 500S MTB (Model code: 8614814). You are concerned by the following information.
Our quality teams have identified a fault with the MANITOU MACHETE 120mm fork, that could lead to a fork failing. Following our tests, we believe that there is a risk that the plunger could break during normal use. We do not wish to take any risks with our users.
We ask you to stop using this product and follow the instructions below:
In order to verify if your Rockrider XC500S MTB is affected by this problem, please follow the link below. You will be asked to enter the bike traceability number of your bike. If your bike is defective, you will receive a request to return to a Decathlon Store of your choice to replace the fork.
Please note that the product may be out of use for several days. We will do our utmost to minimise this delay. However, we advise you to consult directly the workshop of your selected Decathlon Store to have an estimate of the repair time.
