HOW IS THIS PARKA DESIGNED FOR URBAN CYCLING?
This unisex parka has a straight, loose fit that promotes ventilation.
This highly practical rainproof parka comfortably covers your upper body, while its side gussets leave you free to keep pedalling. Plus, you can close them up with their press-studs when you dismount. The hood is not adjustable and does not fit over the helmet. We have chosen an elegant, waterproof fabric that does not allow this.
WHICH IS THE RIGHT SIZE FOR THIS UNISEX PARKA?
Women should choose one size smaller than their usual size. Men should choose their normal size.
This item is also available in other colours.
UP TO 62% RECYCLED FABRIC
The fabric is made from recycled polyester obtained from old water bottles. The textile parts are made from up to 62% recycled polyester
The fabric on the zips is 100% recycled polyester.
WHAT DOES CERTIFIED VISIBILITY MEAN?
This PPE parka is certified for night-time visibility according to the new EN17353 standard (previously EN1150), with reflective bands on the forearms to make cyclists visible at night.
WATERPROOFING IS:
- A WATERPROOF CONSTRUCTION
The aim is to avoid water getting in through the holes
in the seams. There are several ways to do this,
such as by placing a watertight
strip over the seams, or using
assembly processes like thermobonding, which is what we've done on this product.
- A WATERPROOF FABRIC
A fabric's capacity to prevent water from penetrating it.
MEASURING WATERPROOFING
Waterproofing is measured in Schmerbers or mmH2O (the pressure exerted by a water column).
A material with a rating of 10,000 mmH2O can resist 10 metres of water.
The bigger the number, the more waterproof the fabric.
