TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

A heat-formed shell to protect fragile equipment

A heat-formed rigid shell to protect the most fragile diving gear. Lightweight design for a 120 L semi-rigid bag: 4.2 kg. Ideally, put the most fragile items, such as the regulator, the diving computer and the buoyancy compensator in the bottom of the bag, then put the diving suit on top of them. The side and front pockets are insulated with a watertight component. Ideal for storing your papers and diving log book.

A inside waterproof compartment

The main pouch and the pouch under the flap are made of waterproof material to make it easier to organise your diving gear. Even after the wet diving gear has been put back in the bag, the spare clothes in the pouch under the flap are still dry! Perfect for diving trips or days out. The large compartment also helps prevent water dripping out, for example into the car.

Compact dimensions and protection of the contents

The bag contains a hard flap that must be pressed against the bottom before filling up the bag. Then, the U-shaped meal part must be inserted in the rip-tab provided. This detachable flap makes the bottom of the bag rigid to protect your belongings when travelling. It also saves space when the bag is empty, so that the bag can be stored more easily, under a bed for example.

Dimensions and weight of the bag

Length: 85 cm.

Width: 43 cm.

Height: 37 cm.

Weight: 4.2 kg.

Injection-moulded plastic zip

This bag’s zips are made of injection-moulded plastic and the slider of the upper pouch is made of metal. This means that the zips can better withstand salt and are not corroded, unlike metal zip fasteners. And sand does not obstruct the slider, which means that the fastener is less likely to break. This zip fastener is more resistant.

How is the volume of SUBEA bags measured?

Volume is measured using a standardised method: We fill the main compartment and each pouch will small balls. We then pour the balls into a graduated container, which shows us the equivalent volume in litres.
