TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Ergonomic straps:

When the bag is full with skis, the 3 mm EVA straps and 8 mm PU provide maximum comfort.
Essential for a long day skiing on the slopes.

Pockets

Ski backpack with numerous large pockets as well as plenty of inside compartments. Pack dimensions: (W 29 cm x H 48 cm x D 18 cm)/Second pocket (back) identical W 5 cm and 7 L volume/Main compartment: W 11 cm and 13 L/Padded goggle pocket:( W 21 cm x H 16 cm x D 5 cm), 1.5 L volume/Organiser pocket: (22 cm wide x 22 cm high x 5 cm thick)

Carry handle

Easy to carry ski backpack for transporting or storing items.

Easy adjustment

Two adjustable straps: one across-body and one chest strap so backpack adapts to the skier or snowboarder's body shape.
The ski support straps are adjustable so that they can be adjusted to the size and width of the skis.
Suitable for both children and adults.

Backpack

"Stiff" back part with 3 mm PE foam for added user comfort and to guarantee good support of the backpack when carrying skis or a snowboard.

Transport

The carry handles enable the transportation of a pair of skis (up to 140 mm to the skate), or a snowboard. Adjustable, they also enable the transportation of junior skis instead of a snowboard or a pair of adult skis.

Reverse System - instructions

The Reverse system is an exclusive concept which enables turning of the backpack to the front using a simple action to access your items or take the ski lift. How is it done? Grab the lower part of the loop and pull it downwards. To turn the bag, place the right arm down your body. With the left hand, pull handle of the waist strap to bring the bag round in front of you.

Bottom of bag

Made from 900 D polyester coated with polyurethane to prevent wear and tear on the bottom of the bag, additionally covered in canvas to protect your items when the bag is placed on the snow.

Compression straps

The compression straps can be used to optimise the pack volume based on contents.

Enjoyed the rucksack and thought it would last for a long time, however it wasn't very durable, and 3 days into my holiday when my girlfriend was using it, the strap with quick release got caught on something and tore off, along with the waist strap

Used this for a week in Val Thorens, carried my two children's ski's as well as my Board/ ski's, whatever I was riding that day. It did so with ease, also carried spare gloves, fleeces and other accessories. Great as you can hold their hands on the way to the slopes if their young like my children, to prevent them from falling. Strong and snow-proof, kept all enclosed dry and ready to use. Excellent bit if kit, even used the reverse function a couple of times to get my phone out from the pocket on the slopes..

Perfect size for a day pack. Great while skiing. Easy to release the left strap before getting on a chair lift. Slightly more fiddly to re-attach when getting off, but the magnetic catch works really well.
Have used it while not skiing, too. Good size compartment for a laptop. Places for pens and everything.

Photo and actual item received was not the same. Received the backpack with a big decathlon logo in front of it. Same as the person who sent a review earlier. Pretty disappointed.. And there's no way to remove the logo..

I am sorry to hear that you have not received the backpack as shown in the picture and instead have been surprised by a Decathlon branded backpack. As we like the backpack as much as you & your son we have chosen it as our 2015 Decathlon UK launch present for our teams. It seems a picking error has brought the bag to you. I apologies for any inconvenience caused and have already placed a new order DCUK1680278 for the same backpack without Decathlon logo free of charge and delivered to your home address for you. The estimated delivery date is the 4th of February, so in time for your sons ski trip.
