FIrst off - for the £15.99 that I paid I think that it's good value for money. When the net is set up it's a good height for badminton, not very wide but perfectly acceptable for kids in the garden.
Now the niggles...
1. The box is an odd shape, because they've designed the middle of the case to fit ballast (which I've never needed) it means that you can't put anything else that crosses the middle section - not even a kids plastic racket although it's been designed to squeeze a couple of badminton racquets through the handle.
2. It's difficult to collapse the poles, the metal clips often require an adult to push in, I've even needed to resort to using a stone when I couldn't produce enough force with my fingers.
3. Reliability - with only about 5 uses one of the metal clips has pushed up into the plastic so we have to improvise with a narrow stick to hold it upright.
So why the rating of 4 out of 5 stars? £15.99 is a good price for what you get.
Niggles aside it still works well as a net and is pretty quick to set up & take down.
Looks cool, easy enough to set up.
Difficult to collapse poles, poorly designed box
Bought this for 7 year to help him hit shuttlecock higher. Is easier to put up and he likes using it.
Does what it says, is easy to put up
Could be longer
Dear Mrs. Bellingham.
Thanks a lot for your feedback. This type of comments are really useful for us to keep improving.
I am happy to let you know that after some reviews like yours about the length of the net, Artengo have created a new 5 meters Easy net available in all Decathlon stores and online since March 2015.

I won this set on a product testing competition. My review is unbiased though.
We set it up in the house first so the neighbours didn't take much amusement in me struggling, to be honest getting the lid off is a challenge and I still struggle, my other half has it down to a fine art now though. The instructions are fairly useless also, but we figured it out ourselves fairly quickly.
The case is great, everything has its own place, two racquets, two shuttlecocks, a net which has its own pocket and the metal posts which have their own slot to stop them rolling round in transit.
The metal posts all fit telescopically into each other and fit in to the bottom of the case, they then all fold out and the net goes on the top, you have to bend the bars slightly to get the net on, which is how it stays tight. Great quality, we love it, can't wait to go to the beach with it, I can see people asking where we got it from.
I think the product is fine and will be appreciated by young and older people as this give all people of different skills the chance to learn and be active in sports
its easy to assemble and easy to use
the net could be a little bigger
