Perfectly does the job. Great value, much more affordable than similar products in other brands
.
As expected from BTWIN, this pump feels sturdy, the nozzle is of a good construction not damaging your tyres.
Does the job
I got this for my bike (obviously) but found that if you take the valve off the hose is the perfect size for the push fit fittings that come with Cornelius style beer kegs. I use this to pressurise the keg for cleaning. I pump sanitiser through it and it cleans everything. This saves me loads of messing about.
The part you need to reverse In order to use with a Presta valve is a little difficult to remove - but it absolutely does come out. I think that’s why some people report that they can’t use it with Presta valves.
Like another reviewer here, thought I was losing my sanity... trying to unscrew welded plastic.
The conversion adapter was missing! Now 2hrs to take this back.
Hello All,
I will be returning this product via my local Asda. After hours of questioning my own sanity/intelligence at not being able to inflate my tyres (Schrader valve) I paid a quick visit to my local bike store (very recently opened.) They confirmed there is a conversion part missing.
So, I'll never know if this is a good pump or not because I was unable to put it to the test. Sadly, I will think twice before ordering online again...especially when there is a retail option. The hassle of a trip to Asda's awaits.
Not sure why is says it’s reversible, only fits mountain bike pumps although labelled in store as a pump for all. Joke product, waste of £15
Thank you for taking the time to post a review of you track pump. I'd like to confirm that this pump head can accept both Schrader and Presta valves. To convert to Presta, you need to unscrew the top cap on the valve, invert the two internal spacers, re-insert them in the same order and screw the top cap back on and voila. To make it clearer, please go to the website, locate the pump and the 5th image will demonstrate more clearly how to switch the spacers. Please give this a go and if no joy, don't hesitate to get back in touch.
Regards,
Peter, Cycling Manager, DECATHLON
