Quickhiker Ultralight 3-Person Trekking Tent - Light Grey

I tried this tent on two different trips. The firdt time on scotland with a wet weather, everyday, the tent is drenched even without rain! I went to Decathlon to get another one and tried it again in Belgium, again, no rain but the tent is drenched only from morning dew... I can only hope I will be allowed to take another model now.

The tent is brilliant except for the fact that mine didn't have a pegging point in the middle at the rear of the tent. I was going to leave review saying if it just had this it would he perfect but I have just noticed that in the images the tent does have a pegging point in the middle at the rear, I don't know if this is a new feature or if my tent just didn't get one put on

This tent was brilliant. Very easy to erect and the bag allowed you to pack if down tightly. I bought a groundsheet to go with it which I recommend. This was used for cycle touring New Zealand and it survived torrential rain, flooding, storms and extremely strong winds. There were a few small holes by the end of the trip but it is to be expected. The weight of the tent is hard to beat and especially for the price.

Выбрал за вес и большой тамбур, для велопохода вдвоем. Потом использовали для выезда в лес на несколько дней на одном месте. Дождь держит отлично - но потом проблема высушить, если надо сниматься утром. А если на одном месте стоять - сама сохнет хорошо. Вентиляция ок.
Плюсов много и они перевешивают, но минусы серьезные и доставляют очень много неудобств.
Минусы: 1) Внутреннюю палатку ОЧЕНЬ трудно отстегнуть от тента для сушки, а потом пристегнуть обратно - а если не отстегивать и собрать не высушивая, то при следующей установке на дне палатки будет лужа воды.
Разработчики, сделайте, чтобы внутренняя палатка легко отстегивалась от внешней - чтобы ее, сухую, можно было сложить в мешок отдельно от мокрого тента.
2) Змейка на внутренней палатке вшита так, что открывать удобно только справа - а слева неразъемная часть. И если нужно выйти из палатки тому, кто спит слева, приходится будить остальных и лезть через них.
Разработчики, сделайте, чтобы внутренняя палатка открывалась и справа, и слева.
3) Удобство установки и складывания спорное - аккуратный и опытный человек справится, но большинству людей будет сложно нормально поставить и собрать эту палатку, особенно в дождь и холодную погоду.
Плюсы: вес, большой тамбур (2 складных велосипеда в нем не мешают пользоваться палаткой), очень просторная внутри для двоих, и все вещи тоже помещаются внутри.
Не порекомендую ее потому, что сам второй раз такую же не куплю - нужны 2 выхода, нужно легко разделять тент и нутрянку для сушки, и желательно самонесущая конструкция = более простая установка.

We've only use this tent once so far, we were really impressed with its water resistance and strength in the wind. We were camping on an airfield that was quite exposed to the elements. The weather was awful. However, it's got to be one of the most complicated tents to set up and pack down I've ever had! It is not as easy as the video illustrates. This is very frustrating especially if you are tired from a trekking/camping trip. I would reccomend this tent if you are either patient or good at packing tents otherwise I would probably look elsewhere next time. I'm 5ft 10 and my partner is shorter than me, we really struggled for space in this tent. It was hard to not knock the sides.

This is a great design (as always with Decathlon tents). Roomy, quick to pitch and reasonably compact considering the price.
It is however completely let down by the floor which after a couple of weekends careful usage is clearly letting water in. I've just put it up for 3 day with nothing inside and damp has risen through the floor and the weather has been fine with no rain. In what purports to be a backpacking tent I think it is unacceptable to be expected to carry an additional groundsheet weighing 414g (nearly 1lb) made of exactly the same material as the existing floor, let alone be expected to pay £19.99 for it. That you feel a need to this groundsheet indicates to me that you know the floor alone is not waterproof/robust enough.
I have always raved about all things Decathlon because, well, normally they are brilliant. I am extremely disappointed to find Decathlon selling something that, quite honestly is not fit for purpose.

Very easy to put up which is great after cycling all day, or when it's raining, or when you are at a party and kipping in someone's garden!

I was given this tent by Decathlon for review but that does in no way, shape or form prejudice my review.
I could find not fault with this tent. It is a good size, easy to pitch and very sturdy. An ideal tent if using public transport to visiting festivals etc.

We have had this tent for over 5 years now , we use it for travelling around europe on motorcycles as we go to racetracks
its so small it fits on the bike easily and it only weighs 2.6kg
we can put it up in a few minuites and there is enough space for 2 people and all of our equipment , leather ect.
its never leaked so it's been great.
if we have to I would buy another as no other tent packs so small and is so light.
