This product has been certified for horse riding by an expert, based on standard EN1621-2 (level 1): Motorcyclists' protective clothing against mechanical impacts".
Back protectors are not permitted during competitions requiring you to wear a body protector: for the cross-country test in eventing and the marathon test in combined driving competitions.

Good product but like all back protectors, can be hot against the back. Offers good spinal protection. Quick and easy to fit. As a small adult (5' 2"), I had to change the intermediate size for the smallest.
