How do you fold/unfold the scooter?
Hands-free and in one second! What's the trick? Simply stand opposite your scooter with the frame straight in front of you and press the pedal, and your Town 7 is folded in less time than it takes to read the instructions.

We have equipped this adult scooter with large 200 mm HIGH BOUNCE PU rubber wheels. A large wheel makes it easier to build up speed with minimum effort.
The ABEC 5 bearings are very high quality to limit the amount you have to push yourself along, as well as limiting fatigue.

Is the Oxelo Town 7 scooter suited to long journeys around town (more than 5 km)?
Ergonomic handles taken from the TOWN 7 EF, and a rubber grip on the deck that's comfy to stand on and absorbs vibrations from the road.
The TOWN 7 adult scooter also has a bell so that you can make yourself heard. Last but not least, the handlebar is slightly forward for better steering control.

All of our scooters have been lab tested. These tests check compliance with the European standards for scooters, as well as looking for wear. For example, one of our tests involves a machine folding the scooter 10,000 times to check its folding system.

Rides like a dream on the smooth concrete in the store, but as soon as I took it outside, my error was made clear. Every little bump and nick in the road is transmitted directly to the hands and feet. On anything except for smooth-as-silk asphalt or concrete, both the noise and the vibration make this, in my opinion, unridable. I took it for a 40 minute tour around the neighbourhood to be sure I wasn't being unfair, but my initial feelings were confirmed and ended up returning it that day with very sensitive palms and fingers.
Conclusion: go for the one that has suspension, it makes a shocking amount of difference.

Scooter is well constructed, folds nicely, and is generally a pleasure to ride until you encounter the need to stop. The rear brake despite all my weight (85kg) was effectively useless and that was on the flat, don't even consider building up any speed down hills - you simply cannot stop. I have no idea why these brakes are so badly thought out, it ruins the overall experience completely as you get nervous going at any speed knowing you cannot stop! You have been warned!

I went to my local Decathlon today to try out various models.
This one was my favourite from looking online.
Im definitely glad I tried them out.
Unfortunately the break on this particular model is not good. It barely stops you at all and is very flimsy compared to the breaks used on the cheaper models that are avaliable.
I ended up choosing the higher priced town 9 which has a different break system.

Fashionable, easy-on-the-eye scooter. I use it to commute from my home to university which is 2-3 miles away almost everyday. It is perfect if you want to save some money on transport and do some exercise at the same time. It can be noisy on some pavements though.
