500 Ultralight Sleeveless Windproof Road Cycling Jacket

It is lightweight, 76g for a medium and rolls up into a built in pocket. This packs up small and into a tennis ball size which takes up half a jersey pocket, leaving enough space for some arm warmers and the remaining jersey pockets for other items.

For the price, weight and packability, at the time of writing (2018!) this is worth a punt at £15!

The only downside is fit on my right shoulder, for some reason it flaps at high speed. But that may just be my awkward body!

Excellent for the price Easy to carry when not in use.

Very light, packable and effective at keeping the wind out on the chillier days and the fit is good (not excessively 'race-fit'). It can be a bit noisy when travelling at speed, but that's a small price to pay for the comfort offered.

Bought this as a light weight wind stopper. As such it's proved to be excellent for the money. Packs away into its own pocket easily small enough to fit in a jersey pocket. Takes the edge off the wind chill when commuting or descending and provides good visibility. I'm 6'3" and 100Kg, the XL is a good fit can get on top of a base layer and jersey without restriction or being baggy.

For the price this is an excellent value lightweight gilet. Windproof and very packable.

The arm holes are massive, which in itself would not be so bad but the chest is also big meaning the arm holes hang off you a bit, causing an annoying and surprisingly loud flapping sound. This gilet is fine as long as you don;t wear it in the wind. The windier, the worse the noise is. If these issues were resulved, then this would be a corking bit of kit because it packs down incredibly small, does its job of keeping the chill off the chest very well and is quite inexpensive.

I searched for the right windproof gillet in the Womens clothing section and chose this one. I ordered Medium but had to return it as it was too small and the zip wouldn't fasten. I returned it and reordered extra large to be on the safe side. The replacement came very promptly and all delivery aspect was very efficient. However the extra large although fastening easily, is too big in the shoulders and I feel it must be made for a man and is definitely not unisex.
I am going to try getting a Large because I like the lightness and feel of the material but it is not unisex as I expected.

I haven't tried this out yet just a bit too small . like most cycling clothing I would suggest you go one size up
