Hood

The hood is waterproof and wide, and can be removed if desired. The hood is trimmed in synthetic fur (machine washable).

Measuring fabric waterproofness

This garment has undergone a shower test of 60 litres/sqm/hour for 2 hours.
A fabric's resistance to water pressure expressed in mm of a column of water (test based on the ISO 811 standard). The greater the pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a waterproof rating of 2000 mm can resist the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water, which closely corresponds to a rainstorm of 2 hours.

Measuring fabric breathability

To test if a fabric is breathable, its evaporative resistance or RET is measured (test based on the ISO 11092 standard). The higher the resistance, the greater the fabric's ability to allow water vapour generated by the body to escape and disperse, and the higher its breathability. For example: RET < 9 = fabric is extremely breathable.

Jacket is snuggly, soft to touch and comfortable. It has very convenient pockets in many places. The outer material is not attracting horse hair, and mud splashes are easy to wipe, so you can stay clean even if your yard is muddy.
