I bought this for a friend, fitted it as his old set were worn out and the chain was slipping on the chain ring teeth even with a new chain and cassette. Great price for this item.

… initially operated as smooth as butter, after 6 months / 600miles it turns out it is also made of butter. Would love to attach photos, safely say outer & middle set is mere scrap. Pay for what you get!
Response of the brand
In normal riding conditions, as long as the chain is new and not worn when replaced, the chain rings should clearly outlast these distances. If possible, could you DM me with a few photos as I wish to forward them on to b'Twin in France.

Looking to replace the chipset on your mountain bike hack then look no further. I've fitted 2 of these in the last year, one on my commuting steel Rockhopper and one on my father in law's bike, both easy to fit, smooth gear shifting and durable. Mine's done over 2k miles without issue
