This is a good bit of kit but can do with being sold with rod straps and a bit shorter and have a pocket on the outside for a rod pod
Good rodbag for the money
As a previous review states a good sized bag to hold 3 made up and 3 extra rods, although the reel pouches are a bit tight for size 4000 reels but fine for 3000's and under. There are pockets and ties for your made up rods and pockets and velcro straps for the extra rods. There are also two internal pockets inside for bank sticks and a landing net handle. The fabric on the outside is reasonably thick and there is some padding to protect the made up rods although this is not like the hardcase rod holdalls so some care will be needed if strapping down to a trolley. I have used neoprene rod bands to add a little protection to the rod tips and joints.
good sized bag to hold 3 made up and 3 extra rods, BUT the reel pouches are too shallow for made up carp rods. i dont possess big pit reels and mine wouldnt lay flat. ok for general coarse fishing, feeders etc but not 12ft made up carp rods
well padded
reel pouches too shallow
Hi Dean,
The holdall that you have bought is designed purely for match/quiver rods. If you need a carp rod holdall then perhaps this one is better suited to your requirements?

It is slightly more expensive, but is larger and can carry 4 rods + buzzbars, banksticks etc. Any of our stores or our online sales would be happy for you to return the original bag and pay the difference, if that is something that may interest you?
Many thanks,
