First comment some people might think as a negative but i think it's just the way they are made, but i purchased online,i usually take a size 10 or 10.5 for my boots,so i ordered a size 10.5,i was surprised because i could JUST get them on and that was with no socks on.I took them back to Warrington branch and a big thanks to the staff there, very helpful, one male assistant said his partner wears these also and loves them.I received the 11.5 and they fitted perfect.Took them on my first hike up on the snowy Brecon Beacons they were fantastic,no soreness, blisters, slips or slides, nothing.I always have worn fabric type boots, mostly because of the price of leather boots (too dear) but got these in the sale,£99 and the best pair i've ever bought. The stiffness might put people off,the stiffer the better, more longer lasting, but you can use crampons on them which is a bonus,if you use them,i've not tried crampons yet,so can't comment, but walkmates have said they are fantastic AND a 2 year guarantee.I would HIGHLY,HIGHLY recommend them, but remember to buy a FULL SIZE bigger more than what you usually wear.

Great boots with good grip. Well insulated and plenty of ankle support. A very versatile boot that I thoroughly recommend. 10 out 10 for comfort.
nice looking boot and very comfortable
Only the price
Really comfortable did a 3 hour walk as soon as i brought them and great feel with good support. I did find myself getting some gel insoles as I wear them all day everyday. I was looking for boots like this for around 2months to make sure I spent my hard earn cash wisely. These compare to boots with price tags of £200 upwards well worth the money

Pricey, but fit better than the cheaper Forclaz series. Wore them in the snow and on ice - no issues. Only surfaces I struggled with for traction were icy tiles and loose dry grass (uphill scramble). May require re-lacing on steep down-hill descents. The toe-box stayed damp (on the outside) for some time after trudging through snow and led to heat-loss (in -20 degree temp). Bit heavy; not sure how I would feel about wearing these for days on end, rather than hours. My max hike in these was 10K.
Traction, Ability to stay really warm when dry
Cold when wet in sub-zero temp, heavy
These boots are supremely comfortable and didn't require any wearing in at all.
The lacing system which enables you to have varying lace tension on different parts of the boot is a brilliant concept.
These boots are super stiff and ideal for scrambling as well as extended expedition walking over harsh terrain. Excellent heel support and plenty of ankle support and protection too. They are far superior to many of the well known and more expensive brands.
Comfortable, Great Performance

Taken straight out the shop on my feet for a day through rain mud water bog up and down hill over rock, those boot handle it all, better than any Scarpa Asolo Meindl Brasher boot I've had before, for the price comparing them to the other brands I've own they are fantastic value for money. I am honestly so surprised, so if your wanting to get a great pair of boots try these boots and save yourself a few pounds too.
bones dry feet well paded great grip
