These shoes started to feel not so good after 12 months and are pretty much dead by 18 months. This compares with 24 months and 30 months respectively for my previous pair of shoes which were of a similar design and same purpose made by company beginning with S. Ok, so these were a little cheaper (not much) but price per year is more expensive and I don't want to be buying shoes this often. I will not buy these again so I can not recommend them.
For information: I rate the shoe based on 1) if it continues to support the foot, 2) how much wear to the lining and tread. I decide the shoe is dead when it starts to fall apart, in this case the sole is coming unglued.

VERY COMFORTABLE EVEN WHEN BRAND NEW
VERY COMFORTABLE
Comfortable and waterproof, excellent buy.
Waterproof
None
I bought these in an emergency on my way to Greenland after I found a manufacturing defect with a rival brand. Since then I have worn them every day in the arctic summer. It's been mostly dry so I can't comment on the waterproofing, but apart from that I have been very please with them.
I have worn them in both indoor and outdoor environments, only using boots for the ankle protection as up here a fracture or sprain can be a disaster. I've never felt a lack of confidence in the grip that these shoes provide.
They aren't the cheapest shoe, but if you need a waterproof shoe that performs well off the beaten track then they are well worth considering.
I would buy again.
