I thought I would try these out. I have actually started using them in my Inov-8 running shoes and they are perfect, but definitely too thin for walking boots.
Really well constructed & great design
Thin fabric
Used for 1 week walking in the alps and numerous times at home on the scottish munros. No issues with blisters and remained relatively cool when tramping about in 25 degree heat.
People blaming socks for blisters are likely suffering ill fitted boots or are expecting their unseasoned soft skin on their feet to handle a full day of bashing without training. Small amounts exercise in the run up to bigger adventure should help wear in both your boots and your feet.
I prefer the texture underfoot to that of the Forclaz 100.
Good fit, slick surface, blister free.
I have been using cheap and cheerful hiking socks for the last 20 years and never had blisters, but I was planning on doing some long summer walks so wanted to help keep my feet cool and bought these. What a mistake! After 6 miles of walking I used up a pack of blister plasters on both heels, a mile or 2 later used more normal plasters and had to endure 10 miles of agony to get back to the car. they just rubbed and rubbed. At the end of the walk realised that my girlfriend's feet were blistered too as she was giving some a go. Will definitely be trying to get a refund on these.

I hike often, over 2000 miles last year including mountainous terrain. Happy with how these socks have performed
wixks away moisture, reasonably priced, gooddesign
I've been wearing FORCLAZ 500 HIGH ADULT socks for about a month on 2 x 12-mile walks per week in the Hertfordshire countryside. A plus point is that the socks are not too bulky; padding is intelligently placed at pressure points for each foot (socks are marked 'L' and 'R'), so socks can be made which are quite light and less likely to cause overheating.
Socks are very comfortable and extend about 100mm ( 4") up from the ankle, so I can tuck in trouser bottoms if I wish. Elasticity is well-judged - grippy, but not too tight.
They wash up well, so I just have to see how long they last, but very pleased so far.
Left & right socks with padding in right places
None so far
I purchased the socks prior to go walking in the Lake District for a week. The socks performed excellently, I had no blisters ascending or descending. The socks have built in cushioning and are sided to which foot they go on. Well worth the money if you intend to go walking in the hills or rambling.
No blisters. I sometimes get them when descending
More socks in bright colours please for men

Sometimes difficult to get a well sized, no-blister sock which is not a thick, winter weight sock - but these seem to be perfect, comfortable and well made and a reasonable price too.
Excellent sizing (I'm a size 12), v. comfortable
