has wear it first time during in the cold last weekend which was 0°C , i has wear it with my base layer and it's prefect and it's keep me warm during 4 hours spin, it's was cold at the first few mins cycling until body temperature start to warm up.
Bought this jacket as it was reviewed favourably against the eyewateringly priced but widely respected market leader (the one all the Pro's wear!). At almost a 1/4 of the price this is an excellent piece of kit in mild winter weather (I haven't yet tested it in more harsh conditions). I wore it for the first time on a 5 day bike packing trip along the Croatian coast in mid December.(6-17C not accounting for wind chill) Breathability & wind proofing (together with a thin long sleeve base layer & arm warmers) was very good. I can tend to feel a bit overheated when putting in max efforts and layered up but this was not the case with this jacket. As for it's performance in wet weather I have only used it in light showers but to my satisfaction. I would like to see it available in brighter colours as this is only available in Black and I would prefer something that would be more visible to other road users. In all a good product at a very reasonable price.
Fit is really snug but that’s what I was after.
Only used it once on a cold and windy day with a winter jersey underneath and it kept the wind out perfectly, not a hint of cold.
Now I have no excuse to stay in when it’s cold... as for the rain though...
This gabba jacket is top quality. Designed for winter use without being loose. Very aero. Stylish cut of the fabric. If it was made by a different brand, it would retail at 4 x the price. But nothing feels cheap about it, if anything the exact opposite. Can’t fault it, standard is top notch. I’ve recommended it to all my training partners.
Good quality product, would recommend & good price too.
Great jacket , though sizes are small so go up at least one size! Wore now two or three times and mix and match with base layers , best jacket owned to date. Good in dry and in showers, no down hors yet, but so far loving it !
Comfortable and easy to ride in
Sizes need adjusting
This is my second review of this jersey (see "Decent jersey but hampered by poor fitting collar") and I'm happy to report that the issue I experienced with the collar must have been a one off - the collar on this version fits perfectly.
I've just given it a torture test of sorts - hill training in the peak district at 8ºc and drizzly conditions and it performed fantastically - it kept me dry and also totally protected from the wind during the descents. Sure I had to open it up when really working hard but I would with similar Fiandre or Etxeondo versions of this type of jersey at twice the cost.
If it were available as a short sleeve jersey (or half sleeve jersey) with matching arm warmers in the same material it would be a genuine 5 star product - just a little more versatile and suitable for training in slightly warmer weather. Hopefully decathlon could make this happen for spring :)
Water beads off, totally windproof, great value
Great fit and very comfortable. A bit sweaty if the weather warms up during your ride. But... the weatherproofing on mine came away from two of the panels after the first wash (30 degree, delicate wash). I will buy another, as they are on special offer at the moment and never wash it.
Great fit
Fell apart at the first wash!
Compared to other equivalent jerseys, the price is fantastic. This has been my go to top since February. I have done a couple of 120 mile trips in this top and its been very good.
Some feedback for the designers is that the pockets are just too small. When you are out all day, its a bit of a pain to have to leave stuff at home because it wont fit in the pockets.
The arms are a little long and baggy considering how tight the rest of the top is, but its not like I am time trialling in it.
Overall, I'd recommend this to someone looking for a Gabba style top without wanting to spend loads, and I would be very interested to see what updates are made to this product in future.
Price, looks
Short pockets, baggy arms
I really like BTwin products and so I 'm disapointed to write a negative review for the Aerofit 900 jersey. The fit is fantastic and it looks really good. However, while not being particularly windproof, the jersey also isn't very breathable. For a relatively thick garment it's also quite cold. The result is that while I've heated up and got really sweaty and clammy on climbs, the wind has cut through on the descents or flats leaving me uncomfortably chilly, even with decent base layering. I've worn it twice, in 5-10C temperatures. I haven't tested it in heavy rain.
The fit is really good. Looks the business.
Oddly non-windproof AND non-breathable
Dear Sir,
Thank you for feeding back to us your experience of using this jacket.
I have forwarded your comments on to the product manger in charge of this top.
I would be very keen to find out how you feel the jacket performs in wet weather.
