    2. Assembly/disassembly
      5 poles that slide into sleeves and are then positioned onto metal pins at bottom of flysheet while applying pressure.
    3. Protection from the sun
      The flysheet fabric filters out UV rays with an SPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door.

      Double-roof lined at the level of the living area which allows to ventilate and limit condensation. Ventilation behind each bedroom.
    5. Wind resistance
      We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. The well-pitched tent with all the guy ropes rigged around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds of 50 km/h measured near the ground.
    6. Waterproofing
      Like all Quechua tents, special care has been given to the waterproofing, which has been verified in lab tests WHOLE TENT tested under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm (200 mm of rain per hour!) and on field tests. -- Polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet 2000 mm -- Seams sealed using thermobonded tape -140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet 5000 mm resistance.

      Poles: All our fibreglass poles undergo a double quality control guaranteeing excellent resistance to breakage. Tent pegs: Excellent twisting resistance (6mm diameter steel).

      Wir haben uns das Zelt als Ersatz für unser Tunnelzelt gekauft, da es für uns (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) die bessere Raumaufteilung versprach. Die Zeltwoche hat dieses dann auch bestätigt. Die positiven Seiten des Zeltes sind die sehr angenehme Raumaufteilung und der einfache Aufbau. Es war auch bei starkem Regen Wasserdicht. Sowohl von oben als auch unten. Auch der Zeltboden bei dem man die Vorderkante kochklappen kann und ihn dadurch zur Wanne machen kann erwieß sich beim Regen als super Lösung.
      Jetzt zu den Makeln. Das Zelt hat zu wenig Belüftungsmöglichkeiten. Der Eingang und die Dachkuppel reichen nicht aus (wir hatten die ganze Zeit 30-35 Grad). Da waren die Zelte der Freunde ringsrum besser. Als nächstes ist die Höhe nicht ausreichend. 1.8m als höchstes ist einfach zu wenig. Die "Decken" in den Schlafkammern fallen zu stark ab, wodurch der Aussenliegende mit Matraze das Innenzelt an das Aussenzelt drückt. Dadurch war bei dem Regen der Schlafsack klamm. Bei den Kindern, da sie alleine in den Kammern schliefen, war dieses Problem nicht. Der Eingangsbereich fällt zu stark ab (genauso wie die Schlafkammern) wodurch das Öffnen und Schließen des Zeltes zur Sportaufgabe mutiert.
      Durch diese Gründe haben wir das Zelt leider wieder zurückgegeben, was ohne Beanstandungen funktioniert hat. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür.
      Wenn an dem Zelt die extrem schrägen Aussenwände, die Belüftung und die Stehhöhe verbessert werden würde wüden wir uns das Zelt wieder kaufen.
      Wir brauchen ja nächstes Jahr wieder eins ;-)
