    Product feature
    1. Inflating Power of down/feather filling
For this down jacket with its 85/15 filling, the inflating power is guaranteed to be 660 CUIN or above. The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. Down with higher fill power takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.
    2. The advantages of duck down and feather filling*
The durable and inflating properties of down give this jacket 3 qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra low weight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This enables less weight to be carried in the rucksack - Ultra compressible * Our feathers come from Chinese ducks reared for their meat, we collect the feathers after their slaughter.
    3. Care advice for a down jacket filled with down and feathers
The down jacket can be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Follow our advice by clicking on the below link: How to wash and dry your down jacket
      http://www.quechua.com/wash-your-down-jacket
    4. In case of rain
The material of the quilted jacket is water repellent. It allows drops of water to slide off the fabric which delays the penetration of water into the quilted jacket while you get out of the rain. But the quilted jacket is not waterproof. We therefore recommend wearing a waterproof jacket over the quilted jacket in the event of prolonged exposure to the rain.
    5. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated based on its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall ABCDE score is applied to help you readily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental information. For more information visit: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

Great value lightweight jacket, just right as a top layer for an Iceland trip in February (although warmer temps at that time). Bought originally for use as extra layer below outer shell, it is a very versatile type of jacket for varied situations

The jacket was bought as a gift for my wife and she loves the jacket. It's warm enough for cold days out walking and stylish enough for the high street.
