    Product feature
    1. Inflating Power of down/feather filling
This 85/15 padded gilet has a guaranteed minimum fill power of 660 CUIN. The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. Down with higher fill power (the higher the CUIN) takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.
    2. The advantages of duck down and feather filling*
The long-term fill power of the down gives it the following 3 qualities needed for hiking: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and the feathers - Ultra-lightweight: down is lighter than synthetic wadding while offering the same degree of warmth. This helps to further lighten the load in your backpack - Ultra compressibility * Our feathers come from Chinese ducks bred for their meat. We obtain the feathers after slaughter. We hold the death certificates for the ducks
    3. Care advice for a gilet filled with down and feathers
The gilet will be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Follow our advice by clicking on the link below: How to wash and dry your down jacket

    4. The advantages of a gilet
A gilet helps to keep the body warm: it protects the chest, neck and lower back from the cold, as these areas are especially sensitive to the cold. Because it is sleeveless, it saves weight in the backpack and is even more breathable when making a physical effort and is extremely comfortable in movement when worn under a jacket. The sleeveless gilet is therefore especially appreciated during the physical exertion of a hike.
    5. A note to compare the environmental impact of the products
The environmental impacts of the product are calculated over its entire life cycle and with the variety of indicators. An overall ABCDE score is allocated to help you more readily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing the same type of product (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental information. For more information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

I've been looking for a down sleeveless jacket for a little while and was shocked by how expensive they were until I found this one. It's very light, very warm and comes with its own stuff bag. Make sure it fits snugly so no cold air gets between it and your other clothes and you'll be toasty. If the stuff bag was 1/3 smaller it would help pack it in smaller spaces, but it's hardly a show-stopper. Superb value for money.
