    Product feature
    1. Feather origin
Thanks to our traceability system, we can guarantee the origin of the feathers, which are sourced in accordance with our responsible material commitments. Our suppliers are committed to using only feathers that come from ducks that are bred for their meat and which are plucked after slaughtering. http://developpement-durable.decathlon.com/documents-et-rapports/documents/
    2. The advantages of a duck down and feather filling*
The down's long-lasting fill power gives it 3 important qualities for hiking: - Thermal insulation thanks to the air trapped in the down and feathers - Ultra-lightweight: with equal warmth feather is lighter than synthetic wadding. This saves even more weight in your backpack - Ultra-compressible
    3. Fill Power of the down/feather filling
This 85/15 padded gilet has a guaranteed minimum fill power of 660 CUIN. The fill power is a measure of the down's thermal insulation capacity and its potential to "trap" air. Down with higher fill power takes up more space, trapping more air and providing greater thermal insulation.
    4. Care advice for a gilet filled with down and feathers
The gilet will be worn throughout the winter and will certainly need to be washed. Follow the instructions by clicking the link below: How to wash and dry your down jacket
      http://www.quechua.com/wash-your-down-jacket
    5. Weight of the filling
      S: 67 g M: 71 g L: 75 g XL: 80 g XXL: 85 g XXXL: 93 g
    6. The advantages of a gilet
A gilet for keeping the body warm: it protects the parts of your body that are particularly sensitive to chills, i.e. your chest, neck and lower back. Because it is sleeveless, it saves weight in the backpack, is even more breathable during physical exercise and extremely comfortable as you move about, when worn under a jacket. The sleeveless gilet is therefore particular popular for hiking.
    7. In the event of rain
This down gilet's fabric is water repellent. It makes drops of water run off its surface, so that it takes longer for the water to get inside the jacket, giving you the time to find some shelter. But the down gilet is not waterproof. We therefore recommend wearing a waterproof jacket on top in the event of prolonged exposure to rain.
    8. A score for comparing the products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall score from A to E is given to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc). Decathlon is committed to displaying the environmental data of its products. For more information: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
