Product feature
  1. Assembly/disassembly
Rapid set-up. Freestanding tent (you place it wherever you want once set up and, if there's no wind, you can use it with no pegs = direct use!). Folds up easily thanks to the Easy guide system.
  2. Ventilation
1 high rear vent and 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the middle of the sleeping area to allow the air to be refreshed and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation.
  3. Protection from the sun
The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door: protect your skin.
  4. Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) as well as field tested. (Polyester 2000mm PU-coated flysheet, polyethylene groundsheet 120 g/m², all seams sealed with heat-bonded strips). The presence of a breathable polyester sleeping area under the flysheet prevents contact with the condensation water droplets that can settle on the inside of the flysheet.
  5. Wind resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 50 km/h measured near ground level (Force 6).
  6. A score to compare products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated over its entire lifecycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE rating is provided to help you easily identify products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks...). Decathlon is a voluntary player in this environmental information approach. For more info: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
  7. Guarantee
All tents sold by Decathlon are guaranteed for 2 years in normal use (your loyalty card or receipt act as proof of purchase). In case of any problem have your tent examined in the nearest Decathlon store. Spare parts and pole repairs at the workshop of your Decathlon store.
  8. Poles, pegs
Poles: solid fibreglass for excellent break resistance. Tent pegs: 5mm galvanised steel pegs for good twisting resistance.
  9. Sun protection
The fabric flysheet filters UV rays with a SPF of 30. Please note: a significant amount of UV rays can enter through a single open door: protect your skin.
  10. Pitching/folding
Quick installation. Free-standing tent (place it wherever you like, and if there's no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). Easy folding using our "easy" guiding system.
  11. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impacts are calculated across its entire life cycle using various indicators. An overall ABCDE score is attributed to help you more readily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing the same type of product (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.) Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental information. Product testing
  1. Composition
PU-coated polyester flysheet, breathable polyester bedroom, polyethylene groundsheet, solid fibreglass poles.
  2. Storage advice
Storage: after use, or cleaning, store tent only when completely dry to prevent odour and mould growth.
  3. Cleaning advice
1 CLEANING - if necessary, the tent can be cleaned with soapy water followed by a rinse (hose possible). Then needs to be dried fully. 2 RESIN MARKS - …very difficult to remove: once dry, scratch it (delicately) while putting an ice cube inside to make it
  4. Product restrictions
Sleeping width: max. 60 cm per person.
  5. Product information
The new 2 Seconds, is just as quick to pitch and now has a special system to help you fold it down. The living space has been improved and there is an "overhang" for protection above the door.
  6. Lab tested
QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm (200mm of rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. Our test means we can prevent any water entering
