Product feature
  1. Pitching/folding
Quick installation. Free-standing tent (place it wherever you like, and if there's no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). Easy folding using our "Easy" guiding system.
  2. Ventilation
1 upper rear air vent and 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on either side in the middle of the room to allow air to circulate and to keep the natural build-up of condensation to a minimum.
  3. Sun protection
The flysheet fabric filters UV rays with an UPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can pass through a simple open door: protect your skin.
  4. Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) as well as field tested. (2000 mm PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120g/m² polyethylene groundsheet, all seams are sealed with thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the fly sheet.
  5. Wind resistance
We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly positioned around the tent should remain habitable in wind speeds of up to 50 km/h measured near ground level (Force 6).

  • Frustrating

    Patricia (Ireland)
Used for 1 week or less
Used this tent for the first time recently and yes it was very simple to erect as advertised but it was a nightmare to fold back down !! I had read reviews before I purchased this tent on line so did notice that a few people had this problem so I studied the video instructions for folding back down but ended up putting it in the back in the jeep half folded as I was afraid that it would break !!!
I rang Decathlon in Belfast who assured me that the tent poles would not break when doubled back in the figure of eight so I had another go in the garden and managed to get it folded and back in its bag ! Hopefully it will be less stressful next time we go camping
East to erect Waterproof No condensation Roomy
    Difficult to fold back down
  • Quick and easy

    Tim (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Used for 4 nights in South Wales in August. Slight rain one night. Dried quickly. Excellent tent, really quick to put up and to take down (I had tried it in the house before I left so I didn’t look a fool trying to take it down on the site). Quite sturdy even though it is a quick pitch style. No hesitation in giving this a good review and have recommended it to others.
  • Great, fast pitching tent!

    Robyn (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
This was a great buy. It’s easy to pop up and, once you know how, pretty easy to pack away again.
The only thing I would say is that it would be very tight for 3 people. Admittedly we slept on an air bed but my 9 year old and I slept in it and it was cosy. Not sure what would have happened if my partner had come along too!!
  • Quechua 2 seconds 3 tent

    David (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Really good tent for the money, well designed, camped out for a week and survived 2 really wet and windy storms no problem. Was worried would be difficult to put away but was so easy with the colour coded snap links. Took me 7 minutes on 1st attempt. Really impressed pleased i bought 1!
  • OK for festivals but smaller than older models

    Alan (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
A shame that 3 man pop up tents from every manufacturer these days seem to be smaller than previous models although this does make them more easily transportable for festivals which I suspect is their main market. I have used my tent once and found it to be well made and value for money although I missed the extra head height and found it slower to put up and take down due to the buckles and extra folding required compared with my previous 3 man pop up tent. A word of warning - if you use a bed chair be sure to check it will fit before you buy! Those points aside, it is a well designed and a very good tent for the money.
