Product feature
  1. Frame
Hi-Ten steel frame. The easy lateral-fold system means the bike takes up little space at home, at the office, in the boot of a car or in a camper... you'll forget your bike is even there. Frame with a stand for better stability once folded.
  2. Fork
Hi-ten steel fork for greater durability.
  3. Drivetrain
The TILT 120 can be used on most gradients and has a 6-speed derailleur. Changing gears is very easy using the grip shifter. 165 mm cranks. 52-tooth chainwheel, 6-speed Shimano TZ20 14/28 freewheel. Metres of development: 2.96 m / 5.90 m.
  4. Brakes
The steel V-Brakes guarantee effective and progressive braking.
  5. Handlebar / stem / steering
Steel low-rise bars with a rise of 60 mm to adjust your position on the bike to suit your body and make the bike easier to handle. Handlebar width: 560 mm. Folding, non-adjustable stem made from aluminium for increased rigidity. Distance from saddle to handlebar: 540 mm. Bottom bracket to saddle distance: min. 520 mm - max. 740 mm
  6. Saddle / Seat post
Comfortable, seamless foam saddle and steel seat post (diam: 31.6 mm).
  7. Wheels
20-inch, single-wall rims. Steel hub. System that holds the wheels together, making it easier to handle and store the bike once folded.
  8. Tyres
20 x 1.75 gumwall city tyres. We've developed these tyres to give you the best balance between performance and grip.
  9. Crankset
The fold-up pedals reduce bulk when the bike is folded. Once the pedals are folded up and the stem folded down, the bike can be stored against a wall and takes up very little space (26 cm wide). Cranks: 170 mm. Double chainguard to stop your chain jumping and protect it from dirt.
  10. Accessories / equipment
Front and rear battery-powered lights. The front of the bike can be fitted with a built-in LED available from our after-sales service. • Very pleased so far

    john (United Kingdom)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Bought just for occasional use and it's fine for that. Fits easily into boot of the car and quickly converts for use. Be aware though - it isn't a lightweight!
  • Excellent commuter bike,

    Brian (United Kingdom)
Used for 3 to 6 months
Fits well into the passenger luggage space on the train, folds and unfolds easily enough. Rides well enough.
  • Received on a Wednesday, Flat on the Saturday

I ordered the Tilt 120 to use as as a folding commuter's bike, with the occasional excursion to the countryside. The bike technically does its work and you get what you pay for: it rolls and it folds. It even comes with much appreciated complementary lights, bell, and all the tools for basic maintenance. The ride is quite pleasant.
The folding aspects are a bit less than practical. The folded bike remains quite bulky, with no convenient way to carry it or move it around. It does not quite hold standing once folded because the small crutch is off-centered and the front wheel pulls it on the side. On the stem, it is held by a screw and a little plastic rectangle which have yet to prove long-lived. Once folded, there is nothing to hold the folded stem in place and they tend to sway around if you try to carry the bike. The middle of the frame has a small lever than needs to be lifted and turned to unlock the joint. It needs some getting used to at first but works nicely. As an added bonus if you went for this far more advanced Tilt 120 over the Tilt 100, the pedals can be conveniently folded up. There is a small locking mechanism that holds the front and back wheels together once folded, but it is quite flimsy (mine was broken on arrival) and it tends to open when the bike is sitting. It is also not the most convenient to engage.
In less words, it works and does what it says on the tin. Not the in most elegant or convenient way, but that is decent enough. I cannot say if it will hold the test of time.
Mine has developed a slow puncture in less than a week, before even its 3rd ride.
    Response of the brand
Thank yo for taking the time to post a review of the Tilt folding bike. I'm sorry to read that you have a puncture already. If you are a frequent commuter (as am I), I would certainly suggest moving to self sealing inner tubes which are extremely effective at providing added protection when riding to work.
All of your other comments will be forwarded on to the team in charge of the folding bikes.

Good value for money. However, not sure why sometimes my seat retracts down while riding through occasional uneven road conditions. I always make sure that the seat is secured properly as per instructions.
