Product feature
  1. PPE visibility
Certified Personal Protective Equipment colour. The product must be worn over all other garments and must not be covered by anything else, such as a parka or backpack. Protection cannot be guaranteed in the absence of natural light. This PPE product is for non-professional use. Wearing these products does not dispense the wearer from complying with current safety codes when hunting (see instructions).
  2. Silent
Soft, "peach skin" feel outer fabric for minimum friction noise. Noiseless plastic snaps.
  3. Warmth
Optimal thermal comfort thanks to the 60g/sqm of wadding in the Sibir 900 Parka and the removable internal padded jacket with 100g/sqm of wadding.
  4. Component Waterproof Properties
With waterproofing of 2000mm, the Sibir 900 parka provides excellent protection from the rain. We measure a fabric's resistance to a water column, in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood by the fabric, the more waterproof it is. Components scoring 2000 mm can resist the pressure from 2000 mm of water (which is equivalent to a rain shower lasting two hours).
  5. Water repellent properties
A fabric is water-repellent when water slides off its surface without seeping in. As a result, the fabric does not soak up water and remains light, breathable and warm. Fabric is rendered water-repellent by applying a treatment to the outer surface of the fabric. This treatment should be repeated during the life of the garment (we recommend after each wash). Products for this purpose are available in our stores. Solognac SIBIR parkas are water-repellent.
  6. A score to compare the environmental impact of products
The product's environmental impacts are calculated across its entire life cycle using various indicators. An overall score of ABCDE is designed to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks...). Decathlon is a voluntary participant in this environmental labelling initiative. For more info: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
