Product feature
  1. Living area
    8.2 m² living area equipped with a basin groundsheet, which can be flattened at the entrance. The shelter from the fixed porch means that the section can be opened even when it's raining. 2 large windows with curtains, 1 large mosquito net in the door and 2 other mosquito nets, including 1 in the protected side door.   2. Pitching/folding
    4 poles to be put into the sheaths and place in the metal pins under the flysheet while applying pressure.
  3. Sun protection
    The flysheet fabric filters out UV rays with an UPF of 30. Please note: a large amount of UV can enter through a single open door.
  4. Ventilation
    Living area has lined flysheet for ventilation and to limit condensation. Mosquito net at the entrance door and one of the windows.
  5. Wind resistance
    We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel with a rotary table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well pitched tent with all guy ropes rigged around the tent, must remain habitable in wind speeds of 50 km/h measured near the ground (force ).
  6. Waterproofing
    Like all Quechua tents, special care has been given to the waterproofing, which has been verified in lab tests (WHOLE TENT tested under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm!) and on field tests. -- Polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet 2000 mm -- Seams sealed using thermobonded tape -140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet 5000 mm resistance.
  7. Poles, pegs
    Poles: All fibreglass poles are subjected to a double quality control to ensure excellent resistance to breaking. Tent pegs: Excellent twisting resistance (6 mm steel).
  8. Dimensions and weight, folded dimensions

    Storage: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.
