Product feature
  1. Sizing information
Active cut: Fitted cut and elastane-based materials provide an extra comfortable fit.
  2. Absorption, Transfer, Quick Drying
Garments made from Equarea fabrics keep you dry on the inside. You won't be bothered by the perspiration your body generates during physical activities.
  3. Component breathability
To find out whether a component is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapour generated by physical activity can escape, and the higher the fabric's breathability.
  4. Water-repellent component
A fabric is water repellent when water slides over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from soaking up water and keeps it lightweight and breathable. A fabric becomes water repellent by applying a treatment to its outer surface. This treatment must be restored throughout the garment's lifetime (after every wash). Products for this purpose are available in our stores. All the Quechua waterproof overtrousers have received a water repellent treatment.
  5. A score to compare the product environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An ABCDE rating is given to help you easily identify the most environmentally-friendly products by comparing them with other products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks). Decathlon is committed to displaying environmental information. For more information:
  6. * Warmth of the material
    * Comparative study conducted in the thermal laboratory under walking conditions with a slight mild wind (5 km/h). These products are tested as part of an outfit with shoes, socks, trousers, a base layer, a second layer and a third layer, all suited to hiking in cold weather and snow-covered terrain. However, every individual feels the cold differently.
