  • Decent tent but not perfect

    Liam (Ireland)
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
We've pitched this tent three times now, one trial run in the garden and on two separate campsites. Overall it's good but we found it a bit tricky to get it completely straight so that the flysheet is taut over all three bedroom pods. Also disappointed that it leaked in the living area where a hook for a window cover is sewn into the seam. The bedroom pods all remained dry in heavy rain.
Roomy, separate bedrooms, quick to put up.
Leak under heavy rain, tricky to put up correctly

Great tent, seems super quality. Ok to erect but wouldn't want to put it up in high winds.
    Good value, we are happy.
  • Poorly constructed

    Craig (United Kingdom)
Used for More than 1 year
We bought this to replace a 4-person tent while on holiday in Germany (Bad Kreuznach store). Pitched the following day and struggled to close the zip. We thought this may have been our fault or due to slightly uneven ground.

Used it the following year, this time on completely flat ground and it's quite clear the tent is out of shape making the front door impossible to zip closed without bending poles. Unfortunately, the zip burst and I'm deciding whether to repair the zip and sell it on or just throw it away.

Googled it when we came home and it would appear this is a very common problem with this tent. We paid a lot more than it's listed for now. It's a shame as otherwise, it would be an excellent tent for the money and I'm reluctant to buy another Quechua tent for this reason.
