Product feature
  1. A word from the product manager
By observing children, we have found that they, like their parents, want to be able to put on and take off their own bindings. Twin-buckle bindings take longer to use. The presence of a single binding, with an asymmetrical strap, is largely sufficient even for a child with a good level of snowboard combining speed, sharp turns and jumps.
  2. Program/field
    All terrain and all levels.
  3. Single-buckle opening mechanism
A single loop to tighten the ankle but with an asymmetrical strap that still covers the toes, necessary for backside bends, this is the principle of this binding. It's the easiest choice for children!
  4. Possible settings
The original settings are suitable for the majority of practitioners. Nevertheless, you can adjust: - the position of the spoiler (front, rear, side) by adjusting the position of the screws holding the spoiler - the tilt of the spoiler (canting) - the front pre-drilled rack. You can move it forward (for sizes 3.5 to 5.5) or back (sizes 2 and 2.5). You have to unscrew the binding. - the volume of the strap with pre-drilled racks
  5. Stance (binding spacings)
To adapt according to your morphology but know that all snowboard boards have a recommended position for the bindings (recommended stance, materialized by a mark between the inserts of the bindings). Increasing the stance width will lower your position on the board and improve stability. It also helps for rotations in the air. On freestyle boards, the recommended stance width is generally wider than on all-mountain boards.
  6. Adjusting snowboard binding angles
For a track-freeride program, we recommend + 18 ° in the front and 0 ° in the back. For versatile-freestyle use, prefer + 18 ° and -6 °. The openness of the rear foot gives more flexibility when riding switch. In pure freestyle use, do not hesitate to choose completely symmetrical angles + 15 ° and -15 ° for example. Binding angles are very much a matter of personal choice. Feel free to check out what others are doing and try out different options. You can be pleasantly surprised!
  7. Binding centering on a snowboard
Disc bindings with 4 screws can slide along a single axis and generally have 5 possible settings. This setting is used to center the shoe on the snowboard and to prevent the foot from exceeding too much otherwise it is the assured fall! It is therefore necessary that your shoes go beyond the board by that much on both sides. You can also rotate the disc by 90 ° to put more or less stance than anticipated by the inserts. In this case, there is no option to center the bindings laterally.
  8. Setting 3 - centring the bindings according to the width of the board:
The bindings' central disc has 4 oblong holes for the 4 binding screws: 2 WITH 5 pre-set screw positions + 2 WITHOUT pre-set screw positions. _ position the disc according to the desired angle (see below), _ first put 2 screws in the 2 holes WITHOUT pre-set screw positions. Screw in loosely, _ position the boot in the binding, centring it front to back, _ put the remaining 2 screws in the appropriate holes, _ tighten fully.
  9. What angles should you use for the bindings?
For on-piste/freeriding, we recommend +18° at the front, and 0° at the rear. For multipurpose/freestyle use, select the +18° and -6° settings (the rear opening gives more flexibility when riding switch). For freestyle use, feel free to select completely symmetrical angles, e.g. +12° and -12°. Children should immediately opt for +18° / -6° angles because the instructors will quickly introduce them to riding switch.
