  2. Sizing information
Relatively close-fitting cut. The jacket is designed to be worn with a warm second layer such as a pullover, down sleeveless jacket or fleece.
  3. Hood information
Removable, height-adjustable using an elastic cord and depth-adjustable with a rip-tab. Shaped visor provides face protection.

  6. Removable inner jacket
Down jacket filled with wadding with 2 hand pockets and 1 inside pocket with a zip closure. Elastic drawcords and toggles at hem. Lycra cuffs to prevent heat loss.
  7. Other technical details
Central closing with a double-zip cursor for more comfort when sitting or kneeling.
  8. Component waterproofing
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed in terms of the height of a water column in mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure, the more waterproof the fabric. A component with a 2000 mm waterproof rating is therefore resistant to the pressure exerted by a 2000 mm column of water (which roughly corresponds to a 2-hour downpour).
  9. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The environmental impact of the product is calculated based on its entire life cycle and using different indicators. A general score from A to E is provided to help you easily identify the most eco-friendly products by comparing products of the same type (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc). Decathlon is committed to displaying this environmental information. For more info: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
  10. Waterproof component
We measure a fabric's resistance to water pressure, expressed as a water column of mm (based on the ISO 811 standard). The higher the water pressure withstood, the more waterproof the fabric. A waterproof rating of 2000 mm meaning the fabric can withstand the pressure exerted by 2000 mm of water (the equivalent of a two hour downpour).
  11. Waterproofing
Technologies®: this garment has been subjected to a shower test using 60 litres of water/sqm/hour for 2 hours. This test reproduces the average conditions of a rain shower in the mountains.
  12. Component breathability
To find out whether a fabric is breathable, we test its evaporative resistance or RET (based on the ISO 11092 standard). The lower the fabric's resistance, the more water vapour generated by physical activity evaporates, and the higher the fabric's breathability. For example: RET < 9 = extremely breathable fabric / 920 = little or no breathability.
  13. Water repellency
A fabric is water repellent when it allows water to slide over its surface without seeping in. This prevents the fabric from swelling, and keeps it lightweight, breathable and warm. The water repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior. This treatment must be renewed throughout the garment's lifespan (recommended after each wash). Water repellent treatment products are available in our stores. All Quechua waterproof jackets have received a water repellent treatment
  14. A score for comparing products' environmental impact
The product's environmental impact is calculated based on its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall ABCDE score is given to help you identify products with the best environmental performance more readily by comparing the same type of product (T-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon is committed to visually displaying environmental impact. For more information visit: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/
